Deah Barakat Youth Basketball Championship
The Deah Barakat Youth Basketball Championship Tournament program is our signature program, which is now in its 6th year, since first being incepted in 2012. It includes roughly about 120 - 130 participants now, and includes elementary/middle/high school youth, coached and managed by college youth. The games are run at professional facilities. We also leverage professional referees/officials, who are made available by the area association.
Its a fantastic program, that brings the community together. And helps us build the bonds for enabling the greater cause of good and volunteer activities.

Komen Race for the Cure
This is another signature project that has helped raise awareness of breast cancer and helped fund related research, since first being incepted in 2011.
The race attracts more than 10,000 participants, and provides our youth an opportunity to run/walk/compete/volunteer and integrate with the larger society.
Community Picnic
Every year, we have an annual gathering that is open to the entire community. It typically is at the serene Jordan Lake. Specifically, the Ebenezer Church Shelter.
It is usually aligned with one of our holidays, more recently, Eid ul Azha. And is an opportunity to welcome our esteemed returning Hujjaj.

Family Camping
If you want to experience the outdoors, but go not too far from home, this is for you. We have been camping at the beautiful Umstead Park in Raleigh. The primitive cabins allow families the perfect place to start working the outdoors. Since there are a limited number of cabins, this is a first-come first serve opportunity.
With engaging activities for the youth, time flies. And of course, we have the best finger-licking food, with commercial grade barbeque grills, smores and halal marshmallows.
