Tobacco Road Marathon - Sun March 19
Announcement Notes - We have registered 20 people to help with the aid station, but we do still encourage families to come out to support the runners with cheers and posters. Last year we had a good turnout and are hoping for even better this year. The runners really appreciated our efforts and stopped to thank us for coming out and participating in the event. We will be at the turnaround at Scott King Road and the American Tobacco Trail from 6 am to 10 am. The race will start at 7 am. Look forward to seeing all of you there.
Directions:
From Sheetz at 55 and Kit Creek. (4010 Convenience Ln, Cary, NC 27519)
Turn left onto Kit Creek towards Sheetz from 55 Coming from Cary or Morrisville.
Turn right onto Green Level Church for 0.2 miles
Turn left onto Wake Rd. for 1.1 miles
Becomes Grandale for 0.8 miles
Turn left onto Scott King Rd- go for about 1 mile.
Parking on side of trail or a bit further down the road at CM Herndon Park.
You may also put CM Herndon Park, Durham in your GPS and it will give you the correct area.
