Post Event Update - Nov 30
Alhamdulilaah - We had 4 veterans (local and Fort Bragg based) visit us and share their experiences. It was information. We want to thank all of them. We also want to thank Raleigh Masjid, specifically Br. Fiaz Fareed and Br. Samy Abdel Baky (Raleigh Masjid, Outreach Committee), for hosting the event and allowing us to use the facility, and sponsoring the luncheon at Al Maidah Kitchen. I also want to thank Br. Yusuf Badar (Raleigh Masjid, Education Committee) who helped in organizing and getting things set up in the mussalah.
Next steps - We would like to continue to commemorate similar ocassions including...
- Martin Luther King Day (3rd Monday in Jan)
- Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
- Independence Day (July 4th)
- Veterans Day (Nov 11th)

Triangle Muslims and Raleigh Masjid's Dawah Committee would like to invite you to meet Muslims who have served and also to learn more about life in the military from a Muslim's perspective. (Ex)Servicemen will provide insights into their journey and the differences between their civil and military life in the context of being Muslims. This will be after Zuhr (2pm) iA on Sunday 11/24 at Raleigh Masjid.
